What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Visually and dimensionally inspect engine parts.
  • Ensure the configuration and quality of parts and engines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments for dimensional checks.
  • Certify through inspections and audits that subassemblies, primary assemblies and finished engines meet specifications; report non-conformances in the system and recommend corrective actions.
  • Process parts with defects or damage according to their history.
  • Keep appropriate records of various parameters to ensure operational efficiency and allow statistical process tracking.
  • Ensure and certify that repairs or modifications have been completed according to procedures and validate the related documentation.
  • Monitor quality and processes on assembly lines and test benches when required.
  • Perform computer transactions (SAP) and complete required work documentation.

What you need to succeed

  • DEC in Aeronautics or equivalent.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aerospace field.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
  • High degree of autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Interpersonal skills: teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, functional English is required to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may originate from international organizations, and to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
