What Your Daily Life Will Look Like

• Visually and dimensionally inspect engine parts.
• Ensure the configuration and quality of parts and engines.
• Use precision measuring instruments for dimensional checks.
• Certify through checks and audits that sub-assemblies, main assemblies, and finalized engines meet specifications. The employee must report part non-conformities in the system and recommend modifications.
• Handle defective or damaged parts based on the history of these parts.
• Keep appropriate records of various parameters to ensure activity efficiency and allow statistical process monitoring.
• Ensure and certify that repairs or modifications have been carried out in accordance with processes. Validate related documentation.
• Monitor quality and processes on assembly lines and test benches, when necessary.
• Perform computer transactions (SAP) and complete the documentation necessary for the work.

What You Need to Succeed

• Hold a DEC in aeronautics or the equivalent;
• Computer knowledge: Office Suite and SAP
• Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aerospace field;
• Very good command of blueprint reading
• High autonomy and resourcefulness
• Interpersonal qualities: teamwork and positive attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind
• Experience in an industrial environment.
• This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, blueprints, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
