The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking painter inspectors to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

Your challenges:

Ensure surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, degreasing), apply paint products, finalize the finishes, and prepare the product presentation for the client;

Also verify that the quality of the work meets the required standards based on technical documentation;

Perform precise measurements of paint parameters using tools such as the Positector and Color Guide;

Assist with client inspections to ensure that the products meet the requirements and specifications;

Record all observed non-conformities, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to address deviations from quality standards;

Conduct a final paint inspection alongside the client during the delivery inspection, addressing their questions and making necessary adjustments.

Your boarding pass:

An A.P.S.Degree in Industrial Painting / Aerospace Flaps
OR;

A D.P.S. in Bodywork
OR;

An A.P.S in Aerospace Painting;
AND

At least 5 years of experience as a painter in the automotive or aerospace sector within the last 5 years
OR;

At least 5 years of experience as a bodyworker in the automotive or aerospace sector within the last 5 years;

You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team;

You will be required to work in confined spaces regularly;

You will be required to work at heights of up to 150 feet;

You must have the ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions as required by the job.
Please note that one essential condition of this position is the mandatory wearing of a mask, in compliance with health and safety regulations. The mask must fit snugly, adhere closely to the skin, and fully cover the nose and mouth. It is also imperative to maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure optimal mask fit.
Please note that the position may require you to be available to work or respond as needed outside of regular working hours, including weekends and holidays.
