Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing gear and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for the Airbus A320, A330 and A350, and Boeing 787 models. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments
The missions are as follows:
- Carry out visual, dimensional and specific inspection of our parts for which polishing operations are outsourced and verify documentation.
- Carry out visual, dimensional and specific inspection of our parts for which process operations are outsourced (HVOF, Nickel, Chrome, etc.) and verify documentation.
- Carry out visual, dimensional and specific inspection of our parts according to established operating procedures and verify documentation.
- Where applicable, carry out parts rework.
- Perform other tasks related to handling and receiving/shipping.
- Create, if necessary, non-conformity reports in the QIS system.
- Communicate, if necessary, with Supplier Quality, Methods, Procurement and Planning teams.
- Record transactions in SAP.
- Ensure sampling of parts inspection.
- Perform other tasks related to receiving/shipping.

Day shift, Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Note: Depending on the rules of the collective agreement, the position could change shifts (evening, night or weekend)
- The remuneration for this position starts between $26.91 and $36.59 per hour, depending on your skills, experience and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring the skills related to the position, the hourly remuneration will increase to a maximum of $40.62.

Let's talk about you
Education and experience:
- High School Diploma (equivalence not accepted)
- 2 years of experience in visual and dimensional inspection
- 2 years of experience in polishing or lapping
Technical skills:
- Ability to inspect polished parts (finishes, radii, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles
- Ability to write non-conformities in QIS
- Knowledge of our different parts and the manufacturing process
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
