About the project

The structural quality inspector checks the compliance of parts and structural assemblies against drawings, standards, and customer requirements. They detect non-conformities and ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies;
  • Draft non-conformance reports;
  • Measure process performance;
  • Define and lead corrective and preventive containment actions;
  • Read drawings to validate assemblies;
  • Control bores and fastener installation;
  • Monitor assemblers' skills;
  • Ensure information traceability;
  • Comply with procedures and the Quality process.

Skills and qualifications

  • You possess at minimum a vocational diploma in aeronautics specializing in engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the quality field;
  • Mastery of inspection techniques;
  • Very good knowledge of technical specifications in the aeronautical field;
  • Knowledge of aeronautical standards (BAPS, AIPI, etc.);
  • Quick wits and a developed attention to detail;
  • Bilingualism (French - English) orally and in writing is an important asset for communication in the client site's multilingual environment and for technical documentation.
