Job offer: Receiving Quality Inspector

  • Location: Mirabel (Qc)
  • Company: AAA Canada (mandate for a major aerospace player)
  • Schedule: Day shift (temporary position), and evening shift (permanent position)
  • Mandate: full time
  • Expected start: June 2026

Responsibilities

  • Collects data from supervisors;
  • Validates non-conformities (measurement-drawings);
  • Inspects stock to measure the extent of the issue;
  • Informs Production of the non-conformity to avoid production stoppages (if applicable);
  • Informs the Purchasing department of the quantity of non-conforming parts (to adjust stock (PHP));
  • Documents the basis;
  • Sends NCR documents to the supplier (report + photos);
  • Organizes the return of parts with the Shipping department.
  • Derogation
  • Validates non-conformity (measurement-drawings);
  • Fills out the derogation;
  • Informs the Quality Technician;
  • Posts the derogation at the workstation concerned;
  • Monitors the obsolescence of the derogation.
  • Receiving inspection
  • Inspects critical parts;
  • Validates part certifications;
  • Documents receipt.
  • Bus Inspection
  • Inspects buses using the tool provided;
  • Fills out the bus inspection document;
  • Transmits the document to inform the supervisor of the observed NCs;
  • Checks the quality of corrective actions taken by production;
  • Informs the Quality Director of the availability of the bus for audit;
  • Performs road tests.

Profile and skills:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience as a machinist would be a plus
  • Proficiency in French
  • Ability to work in a team.
