Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Quality Inspector.

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to Engineering department requests, customer specifications and Quality standards, while respecting health and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Production by delivering the technical information necessary to carry out the work;
  • Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to the requests of the Engineering department, customer specifications and Quality standards;
  • Report non-conformities, monitor them and certify repairs;
  • Ensure that the tools used by Production are calibrated;
  • Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of the structure and aircraft system, and verify operational functionality. Carry out final inspections and check documentation;
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

  • D.E.C. in aeronautical maintenance or assembly, or any equivalent
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of aeronautical assembly, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an inspector in the aeronautics field or in a related assembly field.

AND

  • Pass a selection interview that may include a practical and/or theoretical technical test.

Special Requirements:

  • Master blueprint reading;
  • Have general knowledge in mechanics;
  • Master the Office Suite;
  • Master technical English;
  • Master the use of measuring tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP and PLM is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset.
