Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Quality Inspector.

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to the Engineering department's requests, customer specifications, and Quality standards, while respecting health and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Production by providing the necessary technical information to carry out the work;
• Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to the Engineering department's requests, customer specifications, and Quality standards;
• Report non-conformities, ensure their follow-up, and attest to repairs;
• Ensure that the tools used by Production are calibrated;
• Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of the aircraft structure and system, and verify operational functionality. Carry out final inspections and verify documentation;
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

• DEC in aeronautical maintenance or assembly, or equivalent
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aeronautical assembly, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an inspector in aeronautics or a related assembly field.

AND

• Successfully complete a selection interview that may include a practical and/or theoretical technical test.

Special requirements:

• Proficiency in reading plans;
• General knowledge of mechanics;
• Proficiency in the Office Suite;
• Proficiency in technical English;
• Proficiency in the use of measuring tools;
• Knowledge of SAP and PLM is an asset;
• Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset.
