Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Quality Inspector.

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to Engineering department requests, customer specifications, and Quality standards, while complying with health and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Production by delivering the technical information necessary to carry out the work;
  • Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to Engineering department requests, customer specifications, and Quality standards;
  • Report non-conformities, follow up on them, and certify repairs;
  • Ensure that the tools used by Production are calibrated;
  • Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of the aircraft structure and system, and verify operational functioning. Carry out final inspections and verify documentation;
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

  • D.E.C. in maintenance or aeronautical assembly, or any equivalent
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the aeronautical assembly field, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an inspector in the aeronautical field or a related assembly field.

AND

  • Successfully pass a selection interview which may include a practical and/or theoretical technical test.

Special Requirements:

  • Master the reading of blueprints;
  • Have general knowledge in mechanics;
  • Master the Office Suite;
  • Master technical English;
  • Master the use of measuring tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP and PLM is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset.
