Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Quality Inspector.

Summary of the position

The Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to the Engineering department's requests, customer specifications, and Quality standards, while respecting health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities of the position

• Support Production by delivering the technical information necessary for the completion of the work;
• Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to the requests of the Engineering department, customer specifications, and Quality standards;
• Report non-conformities, ensure follow-up and certify repairs;
• Ensure that the tools used by Production are calibrated;
• Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of the aircraft structure and system, and verify operational functioning. Perform final inspections and verify documentation;
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements for the position

• DEC in aeronautical maintenance or assembly, or any equivalent
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of aeronautical assembly, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an inspector in the field of aeronautics or in a related assembly field.

AND

• Successfully complete a selection interview that may include a practical and/or theoretical technical test.

Special requirements:

• Master plan reading;
• Have general knowledge of mechanics;
• Master the Office Suite;
• Master technical English;
• Master the use of measuring tools;
• Knowledge of SAP and PLM is an asset;
• Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset.
