Job Description

Aerospace program – Montreal / Mirabel (Quebec, Canada)

Do you have experience in electrical quality inspection or aerospace electrical systems and want to contribute to the manufacture of aircraft that meet the highest quality standards? This position is for you!

We are looking for an Electrical Quality Inspector to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will work in collaboration with the production, methods, engineering, and quality teams to ensure the conformity of electrical installations and onboard systems.

Your role

As an Electrical Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying the conformity of electrical installations, harnesses, equipment, and systems according to plans, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements of the aerospace industry.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of electrical installations.
• Verify the conformity of electrical harnesses, connectors, wiring, fasteners, and installed equipment.
• Control products according to electrical plans, wiring diagrams, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Carry out in-process inspections as well as final inspections.
• Perform continuity, identification, routing, and cable protection checks.
• Identify, document, and monitor non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality deviations.
• Complete inspection documentation and ensure traceability of operations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and aerospace regulations.
• Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Your profile

• DEP, DEC, or technical training in avionics, electromechanics, electricity, or related field.
• Experience in quality inspection or electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace.
• Good ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring plans, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of installation and inspection methods for aerospace electrical systems.
• Proficiency in measurement tools and test equipment (multimeter, continuity tester, etc.).
• Good command of French; English is an asset.
• Rigor, autonomy, analytical mind, and attention to detail.

Assets

• Experience on Airbus, Bombardier, or Boeing programs.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace regulatory requirements.
• Experience with quality and non-conformity management systems.
• Knowledge of SAP, Solumina, or an MES/ERP system.
• Experience in functional testing and validation of electrical systems.
