Aeronautical Program – Montreal / Mirabel (Quebec, Canada)

We are looking for a Structural Quality Inspector to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will work in collaboration with the production, engineering, methods, and quality teams to ensure the conformity of structural assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
Your role
As a Structural Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying the conformity of structural parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies according to applicable plans, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Your main responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aeronautical structures.
- Verify the conformity of structural assemblies, drillings, riveting, fastenings, and installations.
- Inspect products according to plans, technical drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
- Carry out in-process and final inspections.
- Identify, document, and track non-conformities.
- Participate in root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve quality deviations.
- Complete quality documentation and ensure rigorous traceability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- DEP, DEC or technical training in aeronautics, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Experience in quality inspection in an aeronautical manufacturing environment.
- Good reading of technical drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
- Good knowledge of aeronautical structure assembly methods.
- Knowledge of quality systems and non-conformity management.
- Proficiency in measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, comparator, gauges, etc.).
- Good command of French; English is an asset.
- Rigor, autonomy, analytical mind, and attention to detail.
Assets
- Experience on Airbus, Bombardier, or Boeing programs.
- Certification or experience in aeronautical quality inspection.
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
- Experience with SAP, Solumina, or an MES/ERP system.
- Knowledge of special processes and manufacturing documentation.
