Inspecteur(trice) qualité – Réception de pièces

As part of our aeronautical activities, GESTAL North America is looking for a Quality Inspector - Parts Receiving.

Your role

You will be primarily responsible for the reception and quality control of parts and components, prior to their use in the production process.

The position does not involve conducting inspections directly on aircraft or assembled structures. You will intervene primarily upon receipt of parts to verify their compliance and complete the associated quality documentation.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform inspection and quality control of received parts and components;
• Verify the compliance of parts upon receipt;
• Perform necessary checks during the opening and control of received boxes/lots;
• Analyze information and quality documents associated with the parts;
• Complete and maintain the required quality documentation;
• Identify and document discrepancies or non-conformities noted during inspections;
• Ensure the traceability of controls and quality information;
• Collaborate with the various teams concerned to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Desired profile

You possess relevant technical training as well as experience in the field of quality or inspection.

Training:

• DEC or AEC in mechanical engineering; or
• DEP in aeronautical assembly accompanied by at least 3 years of experience as an inspector.

Experience and skills:

• Experience in quality, inspection or parts control;
• Ability to analyze and complete quality documentation;
• Rigor and attention to detail;
• Ability to identify and document compliance discrepancies;
• Good analytical and organizational skills.

Aeronautical experience

Experience directly related to inspection on aircraft or aeronautical structures is not mandatory.

Above all, we are looking for someone with solid experience in quality and parts inspection. Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or mechanical environment can therefore be relevant for this position.
