Job Description
Do you have experience in Digital Mock-Up Integration, have you worked in the aerospace sector, and are you ready to take charge of the fundamental integrity of 3D data within a high-stakes program? Then this job is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Digital Mock-Up Integrator to join our Transformation and Digital Mock-Up Management team, where you will work jointly with configuration, design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
You will be part of the Aerostructure team responsible for supporting the final assembly line as well as in-service aircraft, and for developing innovative solutions for long-term product improvement.
The team's organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, helping each other and learning collectively.
As a Digital Mock-Up Integrator, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality cDMU (Configured Digital Mock-Up), including the availability and reliability of all 3D data, and you will be responsible for the technical content of the cDMU.
Your challenges:
- Configuration and data integrity
- Maintain and monitor the quality of the cDMU configuration.
- Ensure the quality of 3D data in the Zone/Component under your responsibility.
- Responsible for maintaining the DMU as a continuous reference reflecting the design intent.
- Ensure consistency of interfaces between different components.
- Design review and validation
- Verify the completeness of the DMU design and monitor all design disciplines.
- Conduct integration reviews with DMU support (including safety reviews and operability checks) and arbitrate design evolutions.
- Lead the harmonization of product structure management throughout the entire development process.
- Collaboration and stakeholder support
- Lead and control all activities concerning 3D data exchange.
- Support engineering departments in resolving configuration problems.
- Contribute to the harmonization of Processes, Methods and Tools across departments, components, and Programs.
- Participate in the physical ZSA (Zonal Safety Analysis) review to assess the relevance of problems in relation to the DMU representation, where applicable.
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor's degree or a technical college diploma in engineering, aeronautics, or equivalent, as well as relevant experience in the aeronautical industry or a related sector, design and manufacturing.
- You demonstrate leadership, judgment, flexibility, initiative, and you can work with minimal supervision.
- You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- You have a strong knowledge of aircraft structures, detailed design, system installation, configuration management principles, design for manufacturing, weight control, drawing procedures and standards, costs, and schedules.
- You are proficient in CATIA software and the Google suite.
- You demonstrate a high sense of commitment and diligence, and you are able to meet tight deadlines.
- You are proficient in English (advanced level, oral and written) and understand French.
