Description

The Cabin Mechanical Integrator is responsible for the physical and functional integration of the interior subsystems of the A220 program. They act as the guarantor of technical consistency between the aircraft structure (fuselage) and interior modules (galleys, seats, lavatories, bins, etc.).

They play a pivotal role between the structural teams, equipment suppliers, and the final assembly line, ensuring that installation complies with requirements.

YOUR TASKS 🎯

  • Conduct feasibility studies prior to the detailed design phases.
  • Propose high-level integration concepts (architecture, interfaces, layout).
  • Identify the technical, industrial, and scheduling risks associated with the various options.
  • Contribute to the selection and preliminary sizing of technical solutions.
  • Participate in the identification and pre-selection of potential suppliers.
  • Prepare decision-making summaries (trade-offs) for the program.
  • Perform 3D integration of cabin components into the complete aircraft environment using CATIA V5.
  • Define and manage mechanical interfaces (attachment points, supports, brackets) between the primary/secondary structure and the interior layout.
  • Integrate the elements into the aircraft's Digital Mockup (DMU), perform clash detection, and verify functional clearances and assembly tolerances.
  • Validate installation plans and interface control documents.
  • Provide immediate technical support to the final assembly line (FAL).
  • Support certification teams (Stress, Occupant Safety, Flammability).

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎

  • Experienced Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer or Senior Technician.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an aerospace design office, particularly in interior design.
  • Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, GSD).
  • Knowledge of data management tools (ENOVIA, Datalink, eRoom).
  • Knowledge of certification standards (CS-25 / FAR-25).
  • Ability to visualize complex assemblies in 3D.
  • Technical rigor and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with multidisciplinary teams (Program, Stress, Systems, Production).
