Do you have requirement management experience, have you worked in the aerospace industry developing or integrating software and would you like to progress and develop new skills? Then this job is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Controls & Systems Integrator to join our Propulsion engineering domain based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the specialists of the various sub-Propulsion disciplines, as well as interact with Airbus Propulsion counterparts in Toulouse.

You’ll join the Propulsion Controls & Engine Systems team—a group built on autonomy and collective learning. While your core focus is Systems Engineering, our cross-collaborative culture means you’ll occasionally lend your expertise to structural or physics-based challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to propulsion.

As a Propulsion Controls & Systems Integrator, you are the guardian of system integrity. You will lead the integration of FADEC and control requirements while driving V&V (Verification and Validation) across the entire domain. You won’t just manage documents; you will ensure the technical heartbeat of our propulsion systems remains flawless.

Your working environment:

The A220 commercial aircraft Program is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone’s throw away. Known for its peaceful and safe environment, the region offers a high quality of life for younger or experienced professionals and families, perfectly balancing career opportunities and outdoor activities that makes it a truly special place to call home.

How we care for you:

  • Financial rewards: Attractive salary, annual bonus, group insurance plan, pension plan and share purchase plan.
  • Work / Life Balance: A hybrid working policy (based on operational needs), on-site cafeterias and a highly competitive holiday policy.
  • Wellbeing/Health: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Program, on-site Medical Service, access to a public shuttle service between Laval (Montmorency metro station) and Mirabel, and a carpooling application.
  • Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10.000 e-learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, accelerated development program, national and international mobility.

Your challenges:

  • Execute V&V Excellence: Drive the Validation & Verification (V&V) cycles for FADEC, APU, TQA, and FIDEX software builds, ensuring mission-critical reliability.
  • Elevate Technical Maturity: Actively contribute to continuous improvement workstreams to advance the propulsion domain’s technical maturity and internal standards.
  • Architect Requirements: Support requirement management by decomposing high-level mission objectives into granular, traceable, and functional technical specifications.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to aerospace standards, including ARP4754A and DO-160, while upholding rigorous development assurance plans.
  • Mitigate Design Risk: Proactively identify "unverifiable requirements" or technical risks early in the design phase, providing actionable recommendations to ensure system integrity.

Your boarding pass:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Industry Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in Software, System Controls, or V&V—ideally within the aerospace propulsion sector.
  • Standards & Regulations: Strong familiarity with aerospace regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as SAE ARP4754 and DO-160.
  • Tools of the Trade: Proficiency in requirement management databases; experience with DOORS or TeamCenter is highly valued.
  • Meticulous Mindset: A process-oriented professional with rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to engineering integrity.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and the communication skills to thrive in a global environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English is required; a beginner level of French is a significant asset.

This role may involve the opportunity for international business travel to supplier facilities in the United States and the Airbus Centre of Competence in Toulouse, France.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
