The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Cabin Management System Integrator to join our Cabin System team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with different engineering teams, on the implementation or modification of new systems or new equipment inside the cabin. You will also be called upon to work with teams from other Airbus sites.

You will be part of the Interior System team who is responsible for the cabin management system (CMS), water and waste system, cabin lighting, oxygen system and galley appliance.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Cabin System Integrator will be to define the specification and interfaces, design, analysis, interface with suppliers, development, test and certification for the A220 Interior system.

Your challenges:

  • Responsible for the technical integration of interior systems while ensuring adherence to project timelines on the new development project;
  • Conduct feasibility and selection studies for new development projects;
  • Support cross-functional cabin systems teams, including In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), connectivity, and production support;
  • Review, evaluate, and approve technical documentation and engineering drawings;
  • Interface with specialized work packages (e.g., Installations, Stress/Structural Analysis) to ensure system optimization;
  • Support testing activities related to new developments.

Your boarding pass:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, with 5 to 10 years of engineering experience in aircraft systems, preferably within aircraft interiors;
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • You are familiar with the specification, design, integration, certification, and acceptance of aircraft system equipment;
  • You are capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset;
  • You demonstrate initiative, a keen sense of responsibility, and sound technical judgment;
  • You are an energetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are highly committed and willing to take ownership while working independently within a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment;
  • Experience in aircraft system integration is required and knowledge of management tools (such as DOORS) is considered a strong asset.

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
