We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in their search for a Configuration Analysis & Inventory Strategy Specialist to contribute to the optimization of inventory strategies, configuration management, and aerospace maintenance activities.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth analyses of parts, configuration, and consumption data to anticipate needs related to Heavy Maintenance Visits (C-Checks).
  • Evaluate the technical impact of each component and conduct risk and benefit analyses to recommend whether or not to integrate parts into inventory.
  • Analyze and configure technical assemblies by leveraging maintenance documentation (AMP, IPDP, ASRP) as well as technical drawings in CATIA and ENOVIA.
  • Integrate technical data from engineering teams, technical meetings (ASRP ICY), and technical publications (Tech Pubs) into information systems.
  • Manage Operator Support Packages (OSP) and validate spare parts data to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the continuous improvement of configuration management and inventory strategy processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, logistics, procurement teams, and stakeholders to ensure parts availability and smooth operations.
  • Demonstrate responsiveness to operational unforeseen events and contribute to solving technical problems.
  • Perform any other related tasks according to project needs.

Profile Sought

  • You hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in an aerospace maintenance environment, particularly during Heavy Maintenance Visits (C-Checks).
  • You possess excellent knowledge of aircraft structures, parts, their installation, and onboard system integration.
  • You master the reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • You possess solid knowledge of maintenance documentation (AMP, IPDP, ASRP).
  • You master SAP, CATIA, ENOVIA tools as well as the Google Suite.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
  • You possess excellent analytical skills and are able to formulate technical recommendations based on complex data analysis.
  • You are recognized for your autonomy, organizational sense, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • You demonstrate flexibility and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • You master French and English, both orally and in writing.
