Roles and responsibilities
- Manage several industrial projects simultaneously by defining the execution strategy (content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality)
- Plan activities, coordinate the work of involved resources, manage budgets/expenses and act as an interface between the various stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the industrial strategy and the manufacturing plan for both A220 FALs (Mirabel and Mobile).
- Prepare and present progress reports to management committees by seeking the necessary hierarchical support.
- Identify, evaluate and implement innovations to digitize A220 FAL activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close links with central Airbus teams, benchmark with other aeronautical programs and act as an A220 representative.
- Act as a change leader and be proactive in proposing solutions to place the FAL ecosystem in an industrial mode.
- Engage and keep involved the resources and work teams necessary for the completion of projects.
Desired profile:
- Diploma (or equivalent) in engineering or technical field in aeronautics.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including relevant experience in a final assembly line (FAL) environment.
- Industrial solutions specialist demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of leadership with proven coaching/training skills, and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work with senior management as well as with work teams, in a diplomatic and resilient manner.
- Proactivity, great autonomy, organizational skills and ability to define priorities to evolve in a high-pressure environment regularly subject to changes.
- Language skills: Advanced level (oral and written) in French and English to be an excellent communicator at all levels.
