Role and Responsibilities
- Manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously by defining the execution strategy (content, scope, resources, timelines, costs, risks, quality).
- Plan activities, coordinate the work of involved resources, manage budgets/expenses, and act as an interface between various stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the industrial strategy and manufacturing plan for both A220 FALs (Mirabel and Mobile).
- Prepare and present progress statuses to management committees by securing necessary hierarchical support.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement innovations to digitize A220 FAL activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close ties with Airbus central teams, perform benchmarks with other aerospace programs, and act as an A220 representative.
- Act as a change leader and propose solutions to bring the FAL ecosystem into an industrial mode.
- Engage and maintain the commitment of resources and working teams necessary to successfully complete projects.
Profile Sought:
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a technical field in aeronautics.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including relevant experience in a final assembly line (FAL) environment.
- Industrial solutions specialist demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of leadership with proven coaching/training skills, and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work with senior management as well as work teams, in a diplomatic and resilient manner.
- Proactivity, high autonomy, organizational sense, and ability to set priorities to evolve in a high-pressure environment regularly subjected to changes.
- Language skills: Advanced level (oral and written) in French and English to be an excellent communicator at all levels.
