Job Description

Do you have experience in program or strategic project management, have you worked in aerospace or manufacturing operations, and do you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a 'Ramp-up Readiness Leader' to join our FALs Industrialization & Rate Adaptation team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with all departments.

You will be part of the Chief Industrial team, responsible for ensuring the stability of the industrial system, driving ramp-up, and preparing for the future.

Your role as Ramp-up Readiness Leader will be to prepare and lead the ramp-up readiness steering committee, coordinating all departments, from the operational level (working level) to directors, and presenting recommendations directly to the Vice-President.

Your challenges:

• Lead interactions with all functions (supply chain, engineering, production, quality, etc.) to determine the strategic roadmap and the performance objectives (KPIs) required to support the A220 Program's rate increases (Ramp-Up).

• Proactively challenge the robustness, feasibility, and risk levels of the interfunctional operational plan. Act as an authority to ensure that strategies and resources are adequate to achieve critical volume objectives.

• Design, prepare and lead high-level documentation and presentations for the Steering Committee Ramp Up Readiness. Synthesize strategic information to provide Top Management with a consolidated, transparent and risk-focused vision for decision-making.

• Ensure clear and factual articulation of statuses, scenarios, and mitigation plans. Influence senior management by presenting clear recommendations enabling fast and informed decisions regarding milestones and investments related to rate increases.

• Formalize strategic decisions and actions emanating from the Steering Committee. Lead the review and execution of strategic actions by holding various functional leaders accountable for deliverables, thus ensuring an effective conversion of strategy into operational results.

Requirements

Your profile:

• Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, operations management, business administration, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in program or strategic project management in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

• You demonstrate Strategic Agility to navigate and lead the organization through periods of complex rate change and uncertainty, as well as an ability to make autonomous, high-stakes decisions (ownership).

• You show strong Initiative by anticipating risks (proactive risk mitigation) and proposing solutions to optimize future program performance.

• You master Critical Analysis to transform complex data sets into strategic insights. You use Systemic Thinking to understand the interdependence of functions and optimize overall performance.

• You exercise Influential Leadership to mobilize and align functional leaders and diverse teams towards a common goal (the Ramp-Up). You excel in negotiation and strategic conflict resolution between departments.

• You master High-Level Communication (oral and written, in French and English) to synthesize complexity into clear and action-oriented messages for Top Management and external partners.
