Responsibilities
Responsible for operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
In charge of basic CNC programming
Conventional machining Computer Aided Design (CAD) / Computer Aided Manufacturing/Manipulation (CAM) (SurfCAM) experience is a strong asset
Repair and overhaul or tool room experience is a strong asset
Must follow manufacturer's instructions for repairing aircraft engine components involving dimensional constraints using conventional or CNC machines.
Perform routine machine maintenance
May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or center to another
May be required to clean/inspect/repair parts
May be required to work in another category.
Qualifications
Completed diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP), diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) or Attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) in Machining or equivalent
Ability to read and understand instructions in English
Be responsible for the quality and the results
Display self-reliance and resourcefulness
Possess a keen sense of innovation.
Compensation
The starting salary range for this position is $30.73 to $43.47 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time and career progression, compensation may increase up to $47.80 per hour. There is also a premium of $1.15 per hour for employees working on the second shift. The role is also eligible for overtime.

Language Requirements in Quebec
Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
