What will your daily routine look like?

• Use various machining processes, analyze and improvise setups and methods, perform necessary calculations and programming.

• Calculate and program changes for machining and to compensate for dimensional variations of tools, gauges, parts, or machine condition, using computer software.

• Set up, adjust, and operate equipment such as sandblasting machines, polishing machines, and waxing or dewaxing tanks.

• Perform quick maintenance work, minor epoxy work, and detail installation.

• Interpret the views and dimensions of the part.

• Select or improvise setups and fixing methods according to the part to be machined.

What you need to succeed

• Analytical mind

• This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment; nevertheless, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may originate from international organizations.

Education

• DEP in machining techniques

• Mechanical engineering technology

• Aerospace engineering technology

Experience

• Ideally, the candidate will have one to two years of experience
