Use various machining processes, analyze and improvise fixtures and methods, perform calculations and necessary programming.

Calculate and program changes for machining and to compensate for dimensional variations of tools, gauges, parts or machine condition, using computer software.

Set up, adjust and operate equipment such as sandblasting machines, polishing machines and waxing or de-waxing tanks.

Perform quick maintenance, minor epoxy work and detail installation.

Interpret views and dimensions of the part.

Select or improvise fixtures and clamping methods according to the part to be machined.

This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
