What your daily routine will look like

• Use various machining processes, analyze and improvise fixtures and methods, perform necessary calculations and programming.

• Calculate and program changes for machining and to compensate for dimensional variations of tools, gauges, parts or machine condition, using computer software.

• Set up, adjust and operate equipment such as sandblasting machines, polishing machines and waxing or de-waxing tanks.

• Perform quick maintenance, minor epoxy work and detail installation.

• Interpret views and dimensions of the part.

• Select or improvise fixtures and clamping methods according to the part to be machined.

• This position is within a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may originate from international organizations.

Education

• DEP in machining techniques

• Mechanical Engineering Technology

• Aerospace Engineering Technology

Experience

• Ideally the candidate will have one to two years of experience
