Job Offer: CNC Machinist

Type: Full-time, 5 months duration, day shift

Main Responsibilities
The machinist's main responsibilities will be:
- Read and interpret technical plans, engineering drawings and aeronautical specifications;
- Program, set up and operate machine tools (CNC and conventional);
- Machine metal parts (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, etc.) to tight tolerances;
- Make necessary adjustments during production to ensure compliance;
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM);
- Ensure quality control of machined parts according to aeronautical standards (AS9100, ISO, etc.);
- Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes;
- Comply with health and safety procedures and industry quality standards;
- Document operations and complete parts traceability;
- All other related tasks.
Desired profile
- Diploma in machining techniques or equivalent training
- Experience in machining in the aerospace sector (a significant asset)
- Proficiency in CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
- Knowledge of materials used in aeronautics
- Ability to work with very tight tolerances
- Good understanding of aeronautical quality standards
- Ability to read complex plans
- Analytical mind, rigor and attention to detail
