Expected start: May 2026
Type: Full-time, 5 months duration, day shift

Main Responsibilities

The machinist's main responsibilities will be:

• Read and interpret technical plans, engineering drawings and aeronautical specifications;
• Program, set up and operate machine tools (CNC and conventional);
• Machine metal parts (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, etc.) to tight tolerances;
• Make necessary adjustments during production to ensure compliance;
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM);
• Ensure quality control of machined parts according to aeronautical standards (AS9100, ISO, etc.);
• Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes;
• Comply with health and safety procedures and industry quality standards;
• Document operations and complete parts traceability;
• All other related tasks.

Desired profile

• Diploma in machining techniques or equivalent training
• Experience in machining in the aerospace sector (a significant asset)
• Proficiency in CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
• Knowledge of materials used in aeronautics
• Ability to work with very tight tolerances
• Good understanding of aeronautical quality standards
• Ability to read complex plans
• Analytical mind, rigor and attention to detail
