What you need to succeed
Holder of a DEP in machining technique with ASP machining on CNC machine tools
Fluency in French (oral and written)
Good comprehension and reading of English
A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this position given the operational needs of the Employer and the persons with whom the candidate will be called upon to interact.

Experience in the machining field
Experience in cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
What will your daily routine look like?
Manufacture, sharpen, resharpen, repair, and modify all kinds of cutting tools using CNC machines
Consult drawings and sketches of cutting tools.
Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or using a CNC machine, perform setup.
Operate one or more machines simultaneously.
Perform inspection of cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.
Participate in the development of new processes.
Perform mathematical calculations, among others using trigonometry.
Wash, package, identify, and move parts while ensuring standards and specifications are met
Maintain equipment and workstation in good condition.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels, filter status)
Work in a team and be capable of great autonomy.
