What you need to succeed
Holder of a DEP in machining techniques with an ASP in CNC machine tool machining
Proficiency in French (oral and written)
Good understanding and reading of English
A good knowledge of the English language, both written and oral, is required for this position given the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will be called upon to interact.

Experience in the field of machining
Experience in the field of cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
What will your daily life look like?
Manufacture, sharpen, re-sharpen, repair, and modify all types of cutting tools using numerical control machines
Consult drawings and sketches of cutting tools.
Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or with the aid of a CNC machine, perform assembly.
Operate one or more machines simultaneously.
Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.
Participate in the development of new processes.
Perform mathematical calculations, including trigonometry.
Wash, package, identify, and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
Maintain equipment and workstation in good condition.
Perform routine equipment maintenance (oil levels, filter condition)
Work in a team and be capable of great autonomy.
