What you need to succeed
- Holder of a DEP in machining technique with ASP machining on CNC machine tools
- Fluency in French (oral and written)
- Good comprehension and reading of English
- A good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken, is required for this position given the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will be called upon to interact.

- Experience in the machining field
- Experience in the field of cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
What will your daily routine look like?
- Manufacture, sharpen, resharpen, repair and modify all types of cutting tools using CNC machines
- Consult cutting tool drawings and sketches.
- Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or with the help of a CNC machine, perform setup.
- Operate one or more machines simultaneously.
- Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.
- Participate in the development of new processes.
- Perform mathematical calculations, among other things using trigonometry.
- Wash, package, identify and move parts while ensuring standards and specifications are met
- Maintain equipment and workstation in good condition.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels, filter condition)
- Work in a team and be capable of great autonomy.
