What will your daily life look like?
Manufacture, sharpen, re-sharpen, repair, and modify all types of cutting tools using numerical control machines
Consult drawings and sketches of cutting tools.
Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or with the aid of a CNC machine, perform mounting.
Operate one or more machines simultaneously.
Perform inspection of cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.
Participate in the development of new processes.
Perform mathematical calculations, including trigonometry.
Wash, package, identify, and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
Maintain equipment and workstation in good condition.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels, filter status)
Work in a team and be capable of great autonomy.
What you need to succeed
Holder of a DEP in Machining Techniques with an ASP in CNC Machine Tool Machining
Ability to work in a team
Initiative and leadership
Manual skills
Analytical mind
This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations.
Assets
Experience in the machining field
Experience in cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
