What will your daily life look like?

• Manufacture, sharpen, re-sharpen, repair, and modify cutting tools of all kinds using numerical control machines

• Consult drawings and sketches of cutting tools.

• Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or with the help of a CNC machine, perform mounting.

• Operate one or more machines simultaneously.

• Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.

• Participate in the development of new processes.

• Perform mathematical calculations, including using trigonometry.

• Wash, package, identify, and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications

• Maintain equipment and workstation in good condition.

• Perform maintenance routines on equipment (oil levels, filter condition)

• Work in a team and be capable of great autonomy.

What you need to succeed

• Holder of a DEP in machining techniques with an ASP in CNC machine tool machining

• Ability to work in a team

• Initiative and leadership

• Manual skills

• Analytical mind

• This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations.

Assets

• Experience in the field of machining

• Experience in cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
