What will your daily routine look like?

Manufacture, grind, regrind, repair, and modify cutting tools of all kinds using CNC machine tools.
Consult cutting tool drawings and sketches.
Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or using a CNC machine, and perform setup.
Operate one or more machines simultaneously.
Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines.
Participate in the development of new processes.
Perform mathematical calculations, including using trigonometry.
Wash, package, identify, and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
Maintain equipment and workstations in good condition.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels, filter conditions).
Work effectively in a team and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy.

What you need to succeed

Holder of a DEC (Diploma of Collegial Studies) in machining techniques with an AEC (Attestation of Collegial Studies) in CNC machine tool machining (or DEP with ASP).
Ability to work well in a team.
Initiative and leadership.
Manual dexterity.
Analytical mindset.
This position is within a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms originating from international organizations.

Experience in the machining field.
Experience in cutting tool grinding (an asset).
