What will your daily life look like?
Main Functions:
Work Environment- We mainly produce the turbines and compressors for the GTF engine program, notably used for the Airbus A320neo & A220 as well as the Embraer E2.
- Highly automated manufacturing line, combining advanced robotics and unique closed-door machining technologies.
- Collaborate within a qualified and passionate team, ready to share its knowledge and work closely to improve the work environment.
- Ensure optimal production of equipment, machines, and tools.
- Analyze work, identify production requirements, detect special difficulties in advance.
- Diagnose production indicators, statistical data, and perform operating cycles to simultaneously operate several machines or processes internal or external to the advanced manufacturing center.
- Maintain and optimally control the production flow and parts inventories.
- Perform necessary adjustments, settings, and alignments of tools, equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Take required actions to maintain production pace to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Perform a first-level diagnosis to identify the source of problems, intervene and/or coordinate interventions of different support groups. Apply knowledge of equipment and robotics/networking as a first responder.
- Apply the maintenance plan for equipment/processes, perform autonomous maintenance routines as well as all kinds of minor maintenance work such as maintaining fluid/media/acid levels; checking, cleaning, and lubricating parts and gauges; minor repair of machinery, tools, and mechanical equipment and will act as support during interventions.
- Use different computer systems and technologies such as machine and automated line interfaces, dashboards, ESS system, tooling, maintenance, and consumables management system, and/or any other computer systems necessary for the proper functioning of the advanced manufacturing center.
- Validate conformity to the quality plan by performing dimensional and visual checks on parts and tools according to the sampling plan.
- Proactively analyze indicators. Investigate causes of repetitive problems. Recommend, direct, implement, and monitor preventive or corrective actions as well as work techniques and methods.
- Use mechanisms such as “ANDON” to signal events that hinder work progression according to standards.
- Apply calibration routines and ensure tool integrity by keeping appropriate records up to date.
- Document all requirements related to the global quality plan.
- Initiate and lead quality clinics to meet the overall efficiency rate.
- Validate that parts meet all required standards and specifications.
Related functions
May be called upon to perform various tasks or operations such as ATTI verification, shot peening, sanding, polishing, cleaning by various chemical and mechanical processes, simple deburring, masking and demasking of parts and/or various items etc. to ensure continuous flow of materials. In addition, performs tasks external to the CFA such as balancing, inspection, and packaging.
What you need to succeed
Requirements
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in machining techniques
- ASP Machining on numerically controlled machine tools
- DEC in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
- Ability to work in a team
- This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may come from international organizations.
Asset:
