Safran Systèmes d'Atterrissage is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, the world leader in landing gear and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330 and A350, and Boeing 787 models. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
You will manufacture landing gear components using high-tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis numerical control machining centers.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- check, prepare and perform part assembly
- perform machining operations in accordance with the machining range
- solve technical problems or, if necessary, provide solutions to methods technicians and CNC programmers
- inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications and take necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected
- organize your work and schedule tasks according to instructions received on priority parts to be processed
- consult technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures and, if necessary, complete appropriate quality assurance documentation
- ensure that tools/jigs and equipment are in good condition
- inform technicians of operating conditions (tooling, assembly, documentation, CNC programs, data) and make suggestions for improvement
- assist technicians with improvement and development projects
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and to achieving team objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, on-time deliveries

Evening shift from Monday to Thursday from 2:20 p.m. to 12:20 a.m.
Note: Depending on the rules of the collective agreement, the position could change shifts (evening, night, or weekend).

- The compensation for this position starts between $30.13 and $43.60 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring the skills related to the position, the hourly remuneration will increase up to a maximum of $47.32.
