About the role
Safran Landing Systems (Mirabel plant) manufactures major landing gear components. You will produce landing gear components using high-tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines and multi-axis CNC machining centers.
- Verify, prepare and assemble the part
- Carry out machining operations according to the machining plan
- Troubleshoot technical issues or, if needed, propose solutions to method technicians and CNC programmers
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and take appropriate actions if abnormalities are detected
- Organize your work and schedule tasks according to instructions and priority parts
- Consult technical documents on a computer (working drawings, operation sheets, procedures) and complete quality documentation as required
- Ensure tooling, fixtures and equipment are in good condition
- Inform technicians of operational conditions (tooling, assembly, documentation, CNC programs, data) and suggest improvements
- Support technicians on improvement and development projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement and to the team's objectives regarding safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery
Benefits and specifics
Evening shift from Monday to Thursday, 14:20–00:20. Depending on collective agreement rules, the shift may change (evening, night or weekend).

- Hourly pay starting between $30.13 and $43.60 depending on skills, experience and qualifications; with internal training and skill progression, hourly pay can increase up to $47.32

About you
- DEP in machining techniques (vocational diploma)
- ASP in CNC machining is an asset
- Experience on CNC machine tools
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail, rigor and analytical mindset
- Ability to prioritize, initiative, autonomy and flexibility
- Organizational skills and results orientation
