Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, the world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will manufacture landing gear components using high-tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis CNC machining centers.
More specifically, you will be called upon to:
- verify, prepare, and set up the part
- perform machining operations in accordance with the machining process plan
- resolve technical problems or, as needed, provide potential solutions to methods technicians and CNC programmers
- inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications and take necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected
- organize your work and schedule tasks based on instructions received regarding parts to be processed in priority
- consult technical documents on the computer such as working drawings, operation sheets, procedures, and complete appropriate quality assurance documentation as needed
- ensure that tooling/fixtures and equipment are in good working order
- inform technicians of operational conditions (tooling, setup, documentation, CNC programs, data) and make improvement suggestions
- assist technicians with improvement projects and development
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of team goals in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time delivery
Evening shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM
Note: Depending on collective agreement rules, the position could change shifts (evening, night, or weekend).

- Compensation for this position starts between $31.18 and $45.12 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and progression in skill acquisition related to the position, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $48.97.
