The incumbent plays a key role in the development and manufacturing of complex aerospace components. Leveraging their CNC machining expertise, they contribute to new product introduction, manufacturing process optimization, and the production of flight-critical parts for some of the world's leading aerospace companies.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams in the development of new parts and the improvement of existing components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Validate and/or determine part setups (selection of fixtures, chucks, clamps, etc.).
- Select and install the required tooling according to the specific requirements of each part.
- Safely set up and secure workpieces.
- Analyze and interpret various programming languages and formats, including G-code, M-code, Mazatrol, and others.
- Transfer programs to machine tool controllers.
- Optimize cutting parameters and adjust offsets as required.
- Perform required testing and manufacture First Article Inspection (FAI) parts according to customer specifications and requirements. Complete all necessary documentation and implement corrective actions to ensure parts meet customer expectations.
- Machine first-off parts, inspect dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments, and make necessary adjustments to ensure the production of high-quality components.
Education
- DEP in Machining Techniques and ASP in Numerical Control Machining
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, and highly observant.
- Advanced knowledge of machining techniques (turning and milling).
- Functional French and/or English.
