Responsibilities
- Work in a team with the technical group and engineering on the development of new parts or the improvement of existing parts.
- Machine parts according to specifications using machine tools; lathes,
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
- Validate and/or determine the setup of the part (choice of clamps, chuck, etc.).
- Select and mount the required tooling based on the specific features of each part.
- Proceed with the safe setup of the part.
- Analyze and read different types of programming: G codes, M codes, Mazatrol, etc.
- Transfer programs to the machine tool controller.
- Optimize cutting parameters and adjust offsets if necessary.
- Perform required tests and manufacture FAI parts according to customer requirements and specifications, and complete documentation to make necessary corrections for manufacturing parts that meet customer needs.
- Carry out the machining of the initial part and check its dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments, and make necessary adjustments to produce quality parts.
- Verify the given program, correct as needed.
Education:
- DEP in machining techniques and ASP in numerical control
Competencies:
- Good analytical skills, judgment, and a sharp critical sense.
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, and endowed with a good sense of observation.
- In-depth knowledge of machining techniques (turning - milling).
- Functional French/English
