- Recall the line of gauges, tools, fixtures whose accreditation date is about to expire. Uses precision instruments for the verification and adjustment of conventional gauges. Verifies, polishes, cleans and lubricates parts and gauges as needed. Scraps or sends for repair gauges and fixtures depending on the degree of non-conformance. Sends more complex gauges to the measuring instrument verification service.
- Measures and cuts raw material. Handles and stores hazardous material containers, identifies them according to government requirements (WHMIS). Prepares transportation manifests for the shipment of hazardous, worn or new products, respecting all regulations. Engraves engine plates. Receives and stores engine, semi-finished or finished experimental parts and ensures through verification of accreditation stamps that they can be stored.
- Serves various stakeholders. Fulfills requests for all types of supplies, orders as needed, follows up on orders. Delivers ordered merchandise to the customer. Drives various material handling vehicles, uses a motor vehicle as needed for inter-plant delivery.
- Keeps computer system information up to date and corroborates store quantities. Receives and ships internally or externally any store article, and orders necessary material for the responsible department. Makes arrangements to have tooling re-machined, scrapped, re-sharpened. Keeps appropriate records of various parameters in order to establish efficient operations with statistical process control.
- Based on manufacturing sheets or other verbal or written instructions, supports specialized personnel by preparing in advance the assembly of tools with preliminary adjustment, gauges, metrology instruments, fixtures and documentation necessary for engine and tooling part manufacturing operations. Follows, distributes and ships tooling across various workstations in stores or manufacturing or maintenance sections.
- Receives, verifies, prepares, and issues all material. Ensures that the condition of the material and its packaging is intact and matches the order. Packs, unpacks, sorts and groups material and completes necessary documentation.
- Completes storage and inventory counting. Communicates with stakeholders when delivery does not correspond to the request. Returns any non-conforming item to suppliers. Maintains monitoring of inventories located in storage sites located on manufacturing lines.
- May be called upon to operate several nearby machines simultaneously.
Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir
- High school diploma - DEP in aeronautics, logistics or any other related training
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment
- Ability to perform manual work with various tools
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Shows initiative
- Knowledge of computer use in a Windows environment
- Ability to drive a forklift and other industrial vehicle
- Certification to authorize the shipment of hazardous materials (asset)
- Good physical condition will be considered an asset
- This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
