The incumbent is responsible for the Time, Cost, Quality and Performance (TCQP) delivery of the Global 8000 central fuselage within Airbus Atlantique Canada.
Missions
- Improve customer satisfaction (TCQ) by ensuring the continuity of the production flow across the entire value chain, initiating and managing crisis management activities where applicable,
- Manage budgets and activities impacting annual profit and loss (P&L) and program cash flows to achieve financial objectives (OP) and delivery targets,
- Initiate and drive the competitiveness plan to meet multi-year profitability targets
- Ensure the robustness of program configuration management, while driving product evolution through change management (MOD),
- Ensure the implementation of potential changes or new developments, and their NRC / RC repercussions, without impact on OTD and OQD.
- Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies (Make to Buy, Buy to Buy), and the industrial strategy.
- Conduct risk management activities, in particular comprehensive identification, evaluation, mitigation and reporting of risks.
Responsibilities
- Achieve our customer Bombardier's satisfaction by continuously improving product quality, delivering the Global 8000 central fuselage on time, with quality and cost, controlled through our Quality-Gates.
- Initiate, lead if necessary, and close out crisis management activities required to ensure fluid operations along the value chain from elementary parts to fuselage sections.
- Work in collaboration with all functions (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing...) at the Mirabel, Rochefort, Tunisia and Saint-Nazaire sites, ensure synchronization and cascading of program management information (e.g. customer definition, end-to-end integrated business planning, aircraft configuration, budgets, competitiveness plan) to stakeholders.
- Manage the master production schedule based on customer demand and ramp-up strategy through the implementation of the Master Planning Schedule (MPS)
- Manage the overall relationship with the customer through periodic governance including contract management and associated negotiations (price evolution, option management and change request management)
- Manage the configuration of work packages including internal and external change requests, their implementation and associated financial impacts
- Manage risks and opportunities (R&O)
- Manage the complete budgetary envelope of OPEX and CAPEX investments for programs
- Manage profits and losses (P&L) & the competitiveness plan, in accordance with cascaded financial objectives, including DtC (Design to Cost) activities
- Manage major transformation projects in MFT mode to ensure the achievement of TCQP objectives (inventories, Transfer of Work, line structure, etc.)
PROFILE SOUGHT
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a discipline related to the position
- Experience > 10 years in various positions in aeronautics (ideally in multiple functions at an OEM)
- Project experience; 5 years in program management
- Good understanding and practice of financial management (OPEX, CAPEX)
- Fluent French & English
- Dynamic, proactive, team player
- Bearer of a strategic vision
- Able to generate buy-in and unite around a vision and strategic objectives
