The incumbent is responsible for the delivery in Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance (TCQP) of the central fuselage of the Global 8000 program within Airbus Atlantique Canada.
Missions
- Improve customer satisfaction (TCQ) by ensuring the continuity of the production flow across the entire value chain, initiating and leading crisis management activities when necessary,
- Manage budgets and activities impacting annual profit and loss (P&L) and program cash flows to achieve financial (OP) and delivery targets,
- Initiate and lead the competitiveness plan to meet multi-year profitability targets
- Ensure the robustness of program configuration management while driving product evolution through change management (MOD),
- Ensure the implementation of potential modifications or new developments and their NRC/RC impacts without impact on OTD and OQD.
- Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies (Make to Buy, Buy to Buy) and the industrial strategy.
- Conduct risk management activities, in particular comprehensive identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of risks.
Responsibilities
- Achieve satisfaction for our customer Bombardier by continuously improving product quality, delivering the Global 8000 central fuselage on Time, in Quality and at Cost, with management through our Quality-Gates.
- Initiate, lead when necessary, and close crisis management activities required to ensure smooth operations along the value chain from elementary parts to fuselage sections.
- Work in collaboration with all functions (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, etc.) at the Mirabel, Rochefort, Tunisia, and Saint-Nazaire sites, ensuring synchronization and cascading of program management information (e.g., customer definition, end-to-end integrated business planning, aircraft configuration, budgets, competitiveness plan) to stakeholders.
- Drive production macro-planning based on customer demand and the rate ramp-up strategy through the implementation of the Master Planning Schedule (MPS)
- Manage the overall customer relationship through periodic governance including contract management and associated negotiations (price evolution, option management, and change requests)
- Manage work package configuration including internal and external change requests, their implementation, and associated financial impacts
- Manage risks and opportunities (R&O)
- Manage the complete budget envelope of OPEX and CAPEX investments for the programs
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) & the competitiveness plan in accordance with cascaded financial targets, including DtC (Design to Cost) activities
- Manage major transformation projects in MFT mode to ensure the achievement of TCQP objectives (inventories, Transfer of Work, line structure, etc.)
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related discipline
- Experience > 10 years in various positions in the aerospace industry (ideally in multiple functions at an OEM)
- Project experience; 5 years in program management
- Good understanding and practice of financial management (OPEX, CAPEX)
- Fluent French & English
- Dynamic, proactive, team player
