The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking Preflight Mechanics to join our team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. This permanent position offers an exciting career and professional development aligned with your potential.

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program headquarters is located in Mirabel, in the Montreal metropolitan area, close to the city of Montreal. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Install and repair mechanical components;
  • Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
  • Maintain mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.);
  • Prepare the aircraft for flight (refueling, daily inspections);
  • Participate in engine and auxiliary power unit tests;
  • Implement changes in the form of service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program (AES);
  • Perform other related duties according to experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • A DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance, OR
  • An M2 (Aircraft Maintenance) License AND 2 years of experience within the last 5 years;
  • Autonomy, initiative and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Regular work in confined spaces;
  • Regular work at heights up to 30 feet;
  • Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good command of French (oral and written).
