We are looking for a heavy vehicle mechanic specialized in In-Service Support (ISS) to contribute to the operational readiness of military vehicles and specialized equipment.

Your role — ISS Mission

You will ensure the maintenance, reliability, and performance of military vehicles and specialized equipment throughout their lifecycle. You will contribute directly to the operational availability of systems and the continuous improvement of maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and technical support

• Perform technical work on heavy military trucks, specialized equipment, and components
• Diagnose, inspect, and repair systems according to military standards and specifications
• Ensure the operational maintenance of equipment (MCO)
• Perform road tests and performance validations
• Perform preventive and corrective inspections

Logistics support and lifecycle management

• Participate in material handling, logistics, and inventory management activities
• Contribute to configuration management and equipment traceability
• Participate in the reception, shipping, and tracking of parts
• Contribute to maintaining technical documentation and intervention reports

Continuous improvement and collaboration

• Participate in projects to improve maintenance and support processes
• Document technical analyses and recommendations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, logistics, operations)
• Participate in training and knowledge transfer activities

Education and experience

• DEP in heavy vehicle or construction machinery mechanics (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
• Experience in a military environment or specialized fleet (e.g., Renault Kerax) — major asset
• Class 3 driver's license — asset
