GSE Mechanic

Nolinor is looking for a GSE Mechanic. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep and preventive maintenance of all ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair ground support equipment (e.g., utility vehicles, passenger buses, aircraft tow tractors, forklifts, etc.);
• Modify and/or adapt ground equipment;
• Troubleshoot problems using applicable manuals and test equipment;
• Plan and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule;
• Keep their workspace clean and organized;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• DEP in automotive mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, agricultural equipment mechanics, or similar studies;
• 5 years of relevant experience in repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment as well as diesel and gasoline engines;
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
• Knowledge of welding, an asset;
• Be versatile;
• Excellent manual dexterity;
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (in order to communicate with our various bases and understand documentation);
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel;
• Ability to work in a team.
