Position: Aircraft Mechanic – M2 License

Location: Mirabel, Quebec

Job Description

In a dynamic and highly regulated MRO environment, the aircraft mechanic holding an M2 license actively participates in aircraft maintenance, inspection, repair and return to service activities in accordance with current airworthiness standards.

You will work on aircraft in operation or undergoing heavy maintenance, rigorously applying the technical procedures defined in the manufacturer's documentation, while respecting the quality, safety and regulatory compliance requirements specific to the aeronautical industry.

This position is for methodical, autonomous and safety-oriented professionals who wish to evolve in a stimulating technical environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on aircraft
  • Perform inspections according to approved maintenance programs
  • Diagnose mechanical, structural or system defects
  • Perform repairs and component replacements in accordance with applicable manuals
  • Rigorously apply procedures described in Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and Structural Repair Manuals (SRM)
  • Document work performed in technical files and maintenance tracking systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Transport Canada, MRO standards)
  • Work in collaboration with technical, quality and engineering teams
  • Always respect health, safety and quality control rules

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid M2 license (or eligible)
  • Aircraft maintenance training or equivalent experience in an MRO environment
  • Work experience with aeronautical technical documentation (AMM, SRM)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures in English
  • Bilingualism French / English: a major asset
  • Rigor, autonomy, sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a structured and regulated environment
