JOB OFFER DESCRIPTION
AAA Canada is looking for several Pre-flight Mechanics (AME) to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair mechanical components;
- Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
- Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
- Prepare aircraft for flights ("refueling", daily inspection);
- Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests;
- Perform modifications according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
- May be required to work in a noisy and dusty environment;
- Participate in the continuous improvement program (SAE);
- Perform any other related tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- You have college or professional training:
- Diploma (D.E.C.) or (A.E.C.) in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent aircraft maintenance diploma recognized by the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés Culturelles (MICC)
- An AME M2 (B1), B1 (B2) license and a High School Diploma (D.E.S)
- You have five (5) years of experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic.
- You are skilled at reading technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
- You are flexible with work shifts.
- Bilingualism (French - English) orally and in writing is an important asset for communication in the client site's multilingual environment and technical documentation.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
