Responsibilities

• Install and repair mechanical components
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.)
• Prepare aircraft for flights (refueling, daily inspection)
• Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests
• Perform modifications according to service bulletins while complying with industry standards
• May be required to work in noisy and dusty environments
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (SAE)
• Perform other related duties

Skills and Qualifications

• DEC or AEC diploma in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent aircraft maintenance diploma recognized by the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés Culturelles (MICC)
• TEA (AME) licence class M2 (B1), or FAA (strong asset)
• Five (5) years of experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic
• Able to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals
• Flexible regarding shift work
• Bilingualism (French - English) oral and written is an important asset for communication in the client's multilingual environment and for technical documentation
