Pre-flight Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install and repair mechanical components;
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
• Prepare aircraft for flights (refueling, daily inspection);
• Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests;
• Perform modifications according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
• May be required to work in a noisy and dusty environment;
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (SAE);
• Perform all other related tasks.

Skills and qualifications

• Diploma (D.E.C.) or (A.E.C.) in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent aircraft maintenance diploma recognized by the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities (MICC).
• An AME (M2) or FAA license (a strong asset).
• You have five (5) years of experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic.
• You are skilled at reading technical plans and maintenance manuals;
• You are flexible regarding work shifts.
• Bilingualism (French - English) speaking and writing is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
