The Châtellerault site (86) plays a key role in the repair and maintenance of strategic parts (combustion chambers, LP/HP rotating parts, HP turbine nozzles, HP turbine blades) from our famous CFM56, LEAP, and MFP engines.

The Coating department is recruiting its future Metallizer / Plasma Spray Technician.

Main responsibilities:

• Preparation of test pieces (engraving, degreasing, sandblasting).
• Carrying out the start of the campaign and filling out the lab log sheet.
• Depending on the results on test pieces, launching production.
• Placement of the part in the installation.
• Monitoring during treatment (taking measurements, etc.).
• After treatment, disassembly of parts.
• Storage of parts.
• Tidying up tools.
• Tidying up and cleaning the workstation.

Requirements & Specifics:

• Knowledge of the general operation of an installation.
• Knowledge of preparation, cleaning, and sandblasting processes for parts.
• Knowledge of environmental rules.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules.
• Knowledge of Quality procedures.
• Basic knowledge in thermal spraying (technical thermal spray substrates, powders, deposits, etc.).

Candidate Criteria:

• Min. education level required: Associate's Degree (BAC+2)
• Min. experience level required: More than 3 years
