What your day-to-day will look like
- Assemble and disassemble a wide variety of engine configurations.
- Observe assembly processes and results performed by others to verify compliance with standards.
- You may be asked to perform simpler operations to install and test a limited range of engine configurations.
- Perform related and general duties.
- Keep equipment and the workstation clean and in good working order.
- Participate in training and share knowledge with teammates about various equipment and tasks.
- Perform other similar tasks of equal or lesser complexity related to the functions described above; report issues to the supervisor.
What you need to succeed
- Certificate of Professional Studies (DEP) in mechanical assembly or equivalent.
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in mechanical engineering.
- Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aerospace field.
- This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, a basic knowledge of English is required to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may originate from international organisations.
