Compensation

The starting salary range for this position is $21.09 to $34.35 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time, and career progression, hourly compensation may increase to a maximum of $45.48. Employees working the second shift receive an additional shift premium of $1.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

Ability to work with others to make suggestions and improve procedures
Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning aircraft engine components
Mechanical and chemical cleaning, sandblasting of aeronautical parts
Check output for consistency with specifications and eliminate defects
Transport parts, components or modules between workstations or centers as required
Lift parts up to 20 pounds as required
May be required to work in another category

Qualifications

Experience in the aeronautical field / manufacturing industry an asset
Ability to read and understand instructions in English
Be autonomous, able to work without supervision
Be meticulous and organized
Be able to work with and manipulate chemical solutions

Language Requirements in Quebec
